Terms & Conditions Cabins/Apartments

To make a reservation with us, you must be over 18 years old. You need to show a valid ID upon arrival. For access to the accommodation, at least one person of your party must be over 18 years old.

Cabins

All cabins are equipped for self-catering, which means that there are basic kitchen equipment in the cabin. All beds have duvets and pillows. Sheets and towels can be ordered when making your reservation or at the reception desk. Sheets shall only be used in the beds. If using a sleeping bag, please use a bottom sheet and a pillowcase. Duvets and pillows that belong to the cabin are not to be used outdoors neither are any of the furniture.
Pets are generally not allowed in the cabins, but are allowed in some of our cabins. If you intend to bring pets, always ask if this is allowed when making your booking.
Final cleaning is made by you or ordered when making your reservation, or no later then 2 days at 11.00 (11 am) before departure. Limited number of final cleanings per day.

If you have made a reservation with hotel service, the confirmation shows what is included in the package.

Please observe that smoking is not allowed in any of our cabins. A fee from 8000 SEK will be charged if you violate the smoking ban. The same applies if you bring pets into a cabin where this is not allowed.

You may not charge an electric car or hybrid car from a regular power outlet, inside or outside the cabin. This is a fire hazard. Violation of the prohibition is charged a fee of 3500 SEK and may lead to termination of the rental agreement. Isaberg Mountain Resort has the right to disconnect your charging cable if it is used for charging electric vehicles in a location other than the designated charging location.

Apartments

All apartments are equipped for self-catering, which means that the most necessary kitchen utensils are in the apartment. Sheets and towels are included in the price and are in the apartment when you arrive. The blankets and pillows in the cabins are not intended for outdoor use. Final cleaning is included in the price, the only thing you have to do is take care of the dishes. No furniture may be moved outdoors.
Pets are not allowed in the apartments.

Please note that smoking is prohibited in all our apartments. A clean-up fee from 5000 SEK will be charged for violations of the smoking ban. This also applies if you bring pets into the apartments.

Reservation

Please check your booking, be sure to check the arrival and departure dates on the booking confirmation. The guest is responsible for the correctness of the information.
The booking is binding as soon as you have received a written booking confirmation and you have paid the booking fee alt. full payment. A booking fee of 500 SEK per cabin/apartment is always charged at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed. This cost is binding and non-refundable. The booking fee is included in the total rental cost.

When a reservation is made online, a payment of the full amount is required by credit card to finalize the reservation. The same rules for cancellation apply even when the whole sum was paid at the time of booking.

In order for oral promises to be relied upon, they must be confirmed in writing. In the event of any errors, contact Isaberg Mountain Resort immediately.

Arrival and departure

Check-in time in the cabins/apartments are from 15.00 (3 pm) unless otherwise agreed.
Check-out time is no later than 11.00 (11 am), 10.00 (10 am) if ordered final cleaning. Apartment no later than 11.00. No payment will be refunded if you choose to departure earlier than expected. As soon as a check-out has taken place, we are entitled to rent out the cabin/apartment.
Isaberg Mountain Resort reserves the right for possible delays at check-in due to unforeseen events around or with the accommodation. Delays regarding check-in time are not compensated.

Payment

All prices are in SEK and incl. VAT.

For reservations made with more then 60 days to arrival:
The booking fee shall be paid no later then 10 days after the reservation has been made. You have free cancellation within these 10 days. The remaining amount shall be paid no later then 40 days before arrival.

For reservations made with less then 40 days to arrival:
The full rental amount shall be paid no later then 10 days after the reservation has been made, unless otherwise agreed. You have free cancellation within these 10 days.

For reservations made with less then 14 days to arrival:
The full rental amount shall be paid immediately after the reservation has been made, unless otherwise agreed. You have free cancellation within 3 days from making the reservation.

Please note that you will only receive 1 confirmation with the date of when the booking fee and final payment shall be made to us.
When making your payment, please state the reservation number and name of the person who made the reservation.
When paying to our account in Denmark, you calculate the amount in SEK to DKK according to the current exchange rate. Possible change in the exchange rate is arranged upon arrival.

If we do not receive the booking fee or the final payment within the agreed period of time we have the right to cancel your reservation.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your reservation no later than 40 days before arrival, we will retain the booking fee and the remaining amount will be refunded. If you wish to cancel your reservation after the full amount has been paid we require a medical certificate. We retain the booking fee and the remaining will be refunded.

When cancelling/re-booking a cabin/apartment in a group booking of several cabins/apartment, the medical certificate only applies to the cabin/apartment to which the person with the medical certificate belongs.
You can move your booking to a new date up to the day before arrival. When switching to a cheaper period, no refund of the difference is issued. When changing to a more expensive period, you pay the difference.

Booked extra services can be cancelled for free up to the day before arrival. This includes all booked extra services to the accommodation such as final cleaning, bed linen and breakfast.

Snow guarantee, during winter season (for date, see here)

For guests staying in our cabins/apartments there is a snow guarantee. Snow guarantee means that the ski resort must have at least 2 slopes open on your arrival date. If we cannot provide this you have the option to cancel and get a full refund of the amount paid for the reservation. This information must be provided no later than 2 days before arrival. This does not apply to conference guests.

Rights

If we do not provide the cabin/apartment in the condition promised and we cannot resolve the issue, you are entitled to terminate the agreement. Instead of termination you may request a reduction of the rent. If you have complaints, these should be submitted to us as soon as possible. Faults occurring during the stay should be notified to us immediately after the event so that we get the chance to correct them.

Obligations

You are responsible for reading your confirmation and ensuring that everything in it is correct. You must properly care for the cabin/aprtment and follow the rules and instructions that apply. You will be responsible to pay for all the damage that occurs on the cabin/apartment and its inventory when you or someone in your company has been negligent. The cabin/apartment may not be used for any purpose other than agreed upon at the time of the reservation. More people than stated at the time of the reservation may not stay in the cabin/apartment. Camping can only be done in the designated area. All keys for the reserved cabin/apartment must be returned at checkout. Lost or non-returned keys are charged with 500 SEK per key. Between 23.00 to 07.00 (11 pm to 7 am), you and your company are required to stay quiet and show the greatest consideration towards other guests. We have the right to terminate the agreement if the booking conditions are not met, you do not own any right to recoup any part of the paid amount. In case of destruction or disturbing behavior, reimbursement may be required by you. You are fully responsible for your property during your stay. You use your home insurance in the event of theft and we do not stand for your deductible. We are not responsible for forgotten things. Always lock in personal belongings and valuables overnight.

Force majeure

In case of war, natural disasters, walkouts and other events that are considered to be force majeure we can terminate the agreement. In such case, we will notify you immediately. We are obligated to refund the amount paid, with the exception of the usage of the cabin/apartment and for additional services.

If we do not agree

Contact us immediately if any complaints arise. Keep in mind that the possibility for corrections may be reduced if you delay your complaint. If we do not agree, you can contact the Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (General Complaints Board )

Personal data

We undertake to respect and protect your personal data in accordance with the laws, regulations in this line of business and other relevant standards. We treat your personal data with the utmost caution and ensure that this information is used by only us and our partners. By registering personal information, you agree that we store and use your information in order to fulfil our commitments to you. Your personal data may be used for information and marketing purposes. You are, of course, entitled to notify us in writing at any time that you oppose this use. We save personal data from reservations for 2 years.
