Here you can read the most common questions we receive regarding accommodation in our cabins. Please contact us if you cannot find the answer to your question.
Is it possible to book a specific cabin number?
You cannot book a specific cabin number, they are assigned on the day of arrival. You have the option to make requests, which we will do our best to accommodate within the available conditions. We can never guarantee that your request will be fulfilled.
Is it possible to get cabins next to each other?
We do not pre-assign cabin numbers, they are assigned on the day of arrival. You are welcome to provide preferences regarding placement and cabin numbers, and we will do our best to accommodate these requests within the available conditions. However, we can never guarantee that you will recieve cabins next to each other.
Are pets allowed in the cabins?
We have specific pet-friendly cabins of types Ekorren, Räven and Rådjuret. One of our Älgen cabins are also pet-friendly. Please make clear when booking that you would like a pet-friendly cabin. The additonal fee for types Ekorren, Räven and Rådjuret is 250 SEK. For type Älgen there is an additional fee of 500 SEK.
Is there cleaning supplies and equipment in the cabin?
In the cabin, you will find the cleaning supplies and equipment that you will need.
How do I use my RUT deduction for final cleaning?
For online bookings: Select the option "Final cleaning RUT deduction". Payment will be made upon arrival at the Reception, where we also will fill out a form. If you have booked multiple cabins with cleaning, we will need one person per cabin to handle the RUT deduction.
For bookings through email/phone: Inform us that you wish to book cleaning with RUT deduction. Payment will be made upon arrival at the Reception, where we also will fill out a form. If you have booked multiple cabins with cleaning, we will need one person per cabin to handle the RUT deduction.
Please note that only Swedish citizens who lives and pay taxes in Sweden can utilize the RUT deduction.
Are there laundry facilities available?
We have a laundry room in the service building at the campground that can be booked. Bookings can be made at the reception in Isaberg Base Camp. The cost is 70 SEK for 2 hours. In the laundry room, you will find 2 washing machines, 2 dryers and a drying cabinet. The washing machines are self-dosing with detergent.
Is there a WiFi available at the resort?
There is a free WiFi called ”Isaberg free internet” available in the main building, cabin area and campground. It's an open network, so you don't need a password to connect. However, even though the WiFi is available, we cannot guarantee a constant connection. Occasionally, when we have many guests the network may become overloaded or you can experience weak signal for other reasons.
What applies if you arrive after closing?
The Receptionen must be notified if you arrive outside of our opening hours. This is because you will need a code to our key box to get access to your key.
Can you park next to your cabin?
There is a space to park one car next to, or very close to each cabin. There are also designated parking spots in the cabin area where it's also possible to park.
During winter, only designated parking spots are cleared of snow, not at each individual cabin.
Please note that all vehicles must be registred with their license plate when you check-in to recieve free parking during your stay.
Can you book final cleaning and/or bed linen/towels?
It's possible to book final cleaning and ren sets of bed linen/towels.
Final cleaning must be booked at the latest 2 days before departure, but it's equally fine to arrange it directly at the time of the booking. When booking final cleaning, the check-out time changes to 10.00 AM.
If you pre-order set of bed linen/towels you will find them in the cabin upon arrival, but it's also possible to rent them directly at the Reception.
Is there a drying cabinet in the cabin?
Yes, there is a drying cabinet in each cabin.
Is there a coffee maker in the cabin?
All cabins are equipped with a coffee maker and a kettle. Please note that coffee filters are not provided.
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is guaranteed from 3:00 PM for the cabins, but depending on the availability it may be possible to check-in earlier. Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. If you have booked final cleaning, the check-out time is 10:00 AM at the latest.
What in included when renting a cabin?
If you rent a self-catering cabin, the rental fee of the cabin includes electricity and water. Duvets and pillows are provided in the cabin, but bed linen and towels are not included. Bed linen and towels are available for rent if desired.
Upon arrival, there will be one roll of toilet paper and a few dishwasher tablets/dishwashing detergent in the cabin. If you need more than what's provided in the cabin, you can purchase it at our little shop or bring from home.
How far is it from the cabins to the ski lifts?
The cabins closest to the lift are the Ekorren cabins, approximately 400 meters from the Norrliften lift. That is a T-lift so you need to have your equipment on you to be able to use the lift.
For beginners or families with small children, we always recommend taking the car up to the ski resort, as this will take you directly to the children/begginers area.
What TV channels do you have in the cabins?
We offer SVT1, SVT2, Tv3, Tv4, Kanal 5, Tv6, DR 1 Denmark, DR 2 Denmark, TV 2 Denmark, SVTBarn/SVT24, Kunskapskanalen, Eurosport Germany, SAT1 Germany, CNN, Bloomberg and Comedy Central.
